Learning as Meta-Skill

The thesis that in the AI era, the ability to learn itself — not any particular knowledge domain — becomes the primary competitive advantage. When AI can execute most cognitive tasks, the human edge shifts to: knowing what to learn, how to learn quickly, and how to synthesize across unfamiliar domains. This “meta-skill” encompasses curiosity, rapid domain-switching, learning how to use AI as a learning accelerator, and building personal knowledge systems. Closely related to tacit-knowledge (what AI cannot yet replicate) and Skill Development.
